Overview

The flag seems to be white with the Coat of Arms in the middle, apaprently in the vertical version. The Coat of Arms shown on the flag in the mayor's office, see <opcina-gracanica.ba> seems to be a variant of the Coat of Arms containing the name of the community in the yellow panel atop the shield. It is interesting that such a shield is described at <glasnik.gracanica.net> as was adopted on 26 April 1996. I suspect the flag may have been adopted at the same time. Possibly the Coat of Arms was latter changed in details, or more probably the change was made without any further decision...

Gracanica is in Tuzla Canton in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The Coat of Arms taken from the couuminty. The same site showes the mayor in front of a white flag that contains the same coat of arms (apparently) in a variant containing the name at the top.   The 1996 adopted coat of arms described is not quite the same as the currently used one. The 1996 Coat of Arms was based on the Bosnian Coat of Arms with a bend that was official at the time. The new currently used Coat of Arms is therefore adopted afterwards.
