The second is a light blue flag with 5 (?) bars interchangably comming out of hoist and fly ends and not reaching the other end, and also interchangably yellow and white. I am far from sure on the number of those bars, not to mention their length and width, of course. If anything comes out of it, I guess we will learn the better of it.

Judging from the photo with Westendorp and the flags on the wall, the flag is light blue, with five bars, the three extending from the hoist side are yellow, the two extending from the fly side are white.

In the construction sheet, the bars in Alternative 2 are supposed to be separated by thin blue lines only,

I would sware that I have seen blue lines between the bars, but then again, I would sware that they were 2:3 flag there.

The thin blue lines were there on the photo we talked about earlier, but my guess is that they were really seams or else the manufacturer took some liberties when making the flags. I agree also that in the photo, the flags were 2:3. The report says 1:2 however.

For historical reference the five-bar alternative had fimbrations 1/9 of the bars width.
