Gorazde is in Bosnia, is one of the UNO protected enclaves, east of Sarajevo and south of Srebenica

It is almost due east some 100 km from Sarajevo, in the "peninsula" of the Federation entering the Republic of Srpska. It was indeed one of the UN protected enclaves (though that seemed not to help much at the time). Today, it is the capital of the canton 5, called "Goraz<dansko-podrinjski kanton" (Canton of Gorazde and Podrinje, this last being name of the region near Drina river - border river through most of its course towards FR Yugoslavia). The city as well as the canton are mainly Bosniak inhabited (partly due to the war - others left), and the city suffered greafly under Serb siege, much like more known Srebrenica.
