An image of the flag is at http://www.terra.com.br/cidades/udi/imagens/bandeira.jpg. The following description of the flag is based on Law No. 3191 of 22 September 1980, quoted at http://www.terra.com.br/cidades/udi/bandeira.htm:
The flag of Uberlândia measures 1.2 by 1.8 meters. The hoist is divided with the upper two-thirds blue (representing the sky) and the lower one-third green (representing the fields and lands of the municipality). The center of the dividing line between blue and green is referred to as the "ideal center" of the flag. A white circle of 12 centimeters diameter is centered at that point; upon it is centered a smaller yellow circle of 9 centimeters diameter circumscribing a red-bordered white isoceles triangle. The triangle is the main symbol of the State of Minas Gerais. White pointed rays equally spaced at 30º angles issue from the white circle and extend to the edges of the flag all around, forming a 12-pointed star representing the highway system radiating from Uberlândia. The white color of the star is said to represent peace, tranquility, and order. The colors of the flag [with the exception of the red border of the triangle] are also those of the national flag.Reported by Dov Gutterman, 18 February 2002
