The flag of the Town of Saint André is white with the town arms in the centre. The fleur-de-lys symbolizes the linguistic origins of the first pioneers and their attachment to France. The acorn symbolizes the spirit of the pioneer during the time of the clearing of the land. The porcupine is the symbol of Madawaska County and comes from the Malecite word. The potato blossom represents the areas main culture and the violet is the official flower of New Brunswick. The motto "Fructus ex floribus" (The fruit follows the flower) remind us from where we were sown.
