Rae Lakes

Unequal triband of green, white and green charged on the white area with a local badge. This badge consists of an overall circle shaped emblem divided diagonally in dark blue and green showing a stylized caribou head on an arrow and a mountain.

Rae Lakes (also called Gameti, meaning "game's place"), with a population of 256 (as of 1996), is located at 64°09'N lat. and 167°20'W long., halfway between the two great lakes. Local languages are Dogrib and English, and the community belongs to the electoral district of North Slave and to land claim area of Dogrib.
