Overview

Here is a flag I spotted while I was in Montería, the capital of Córdoba department. I believe it to be the city flag, but I have not been able to confirm it. The proportions are 2:3 - I guess almost a standard in Colombian vexillology. The design is based on the national colors. The image above has bright colors, but the flags I spotted (about 10) were all pretty used up, so it was hard to tell what the proper shades were.

According to <alcaldiademonteria.tripod.com> the flag is different. The quarters are red-white/white blue and the star is smaller.
