The flag of Despotovac is quartered red and blue and bears in the middle a white fimbriated red disk containing a white double-headed eagle. It was designed by the Serbian Heraldic Society "White Eagle".

The supporters of the coat of arms of Despotovac are
prominent figures of the Serbian history, probably connected with the
circular badge in the flag, that is the badge of some medieval
Serbian rulers. Some of these rulers held the title of Despot, and the place name is surely connected to some Despot itself.
The flag of Despotovac shown in the coat of arms has the red disk fimbriated yellow instead of white.
