Hukvaldy municipality flag

[Hukvaldy municipality flag] by Blas Delgado Ortiz, 16 Jul 2001

A photo of the flag of Hukvaldy is at this page (with some big images), the bottom of the flag consists of the spikes, as in the CoA at the homepage. Hukvaldy is closely associated with the Czech composer Leoš Janáček, who was born here 3 July 1854, hence the lyre on the flag. The flag was adopted 15 Jul 1993
Jarig Bakker, 14 Jul 2001

The fox is a reference to Janáček's opera "Příhody Lišky Bystroušky", the Cunning Little Vixen.
