Břest municipality flag
Břest is in Kroměříž district in the east of the Czech Republic. The flag
on this site
is vertical red-white-red (1:1:1) with a green tree on the white stripe.
The flag was adopted 29 Mar 1995.
Jarig Bakker, 10 July 2000.
Am I right that the tree here is for canting, since the name of the
place means "Elm-tree"... (one of the benefits of watching Fredy Kruger
movies :-)
Zeljko Heimer, 10 July 2000.
