Nymburk is the main town of Nymburk district, some 50 km east of Prague in the Czech Republic.

Any idea about a horizontal variant? And is the vertical version more often? And does this reflects the general practice in Czechia? Just asking...

Don't know. But if it is anything similar to practice in Slovenia, it may be that there is no horizontal version prescribed. Namely, in Slovenia there are local flags, especially those that are of rather long proportions, that are prescribed only for vertical hoisting, and are never actually used in horizontal - decisions of
