Image based on Petr Exner's Vexilologický Lexikon prapory obcí ČR (2004) - Davle, Praha-západ district, Central Bohemian region - adopted 8 Jun 2004.  This is the head of St. John the Baptist, who was beheaded by King Herod Antipas, at the request of his stepdaughter Salome, who had performed the dance of veils before him. St. John apparently had rebuked her mother, Herodias, for adulterous behavior, and it was Herodias who told Salome to request St. John's head on a plate from Herod.
