Komňa flag

[flag of Komna] by Pascal Gross and Mark Sensen, 2 Sept 2000, after image from this website, reported by Jarig Bakker, 25 Jun 2000

Komňa is in Uherské Hradiště district, close to the Slovakian border, with a half Pegasus. I'm not sure about the color of the bottom stripe, but on my browser it is grey...
Jarig Bakker, 25 Jun 2000

Crowned horse and blue, white and red color is from the family of Serenyi (they were mild to poor people), who lived in the castle Novy (new) Svetlov and they were owners of Svetlov estate and Komna was held by them. This castle stay in town Bojkovice - it is the town next to the our village. And the last strip - green is the color of our municipality. I am from village KOMNA and I send you a picture with our flag. Your colour of the last strip is good. Picture is from Whitby (England) when we were in April 2000 in Festival of Sword Dances.
