Vinohrady flag

[short Vinohrady flag] by Jan Kravčik, 10 July 2000

(Kralovske) Vinohrady is a city ward of Prague. The name means "Royal Vineyards".
Aleš Křižan, 15 Feb 2001

This page has a big CoA and three flag-images.
"The Public Relations Department of Praha 3 Municipal office had informed about approvement of symbols by Praha 3 Municipal Council. It was the CoA and the last of presented flag design (green - white - red - white - red). Designer was Dr. Milan Buben, a Heraldist. These eschutcheons were symbols of personalities in Žižkov (Jan Žižka - a Chalice, Charles IV  - Bohemian Lion) and Královské Vinohrady (St. Wenceslas Eagle) arms. But the Representation / Zastupitelstvo rejected thse proposals (So much Petr Blažek, the Press Speaker of Praha 3). So these proposals were (unfortunately) meant very seriously.

This page has a flag horizontally WRWR with on the second white bar three blue 5-pointed stars.
