Horní Lideč flag

[Horní Lidec flag] by Blas Delgado Ortiz, 10 Jul 2001, after image from this site; flag adopted 17 May 1994.

Horní Lideč Coat of Arms are: per pale Gules and Argent, First a Representation of St. Wenceslas, Duke of Bohemia, second and eradicated tree, all proper. Horní Lideč pages shows the image of the flag with "flamy Eagle of St. Wenceslas" - without crown, with trefoiled crescent on the breast, but without cross in the middle of it. I only don´t know the colour of the beak and claws of that eagle. It migth be Or, Gules or perhaps sable. (See: here) The expression "flamy" means, that not all body, but only its margins are seeded with red flames. Good example are the Arms of Region Trentino - Alto Adige in Italy. This Emblem - a traditional Arms of Bohemian Rulers, never granted for Bohemia and with many variants - received Bishop of Trento perhaps from the Imperial Vicar of John of Luxembourg, King of the Bohemians,  in Italy.
