Bobrůvka municipality flag

[Bobrůvka flag] by Jarig Bakker, 31 Mar 2003

The symbols of the municipality of Bobruvka (Vysocina Region) are available at this website (follow "znak a prapor"). Note that "bobr" in Czech = beaver. The COA includes the beaver himself, the flag shows what will remain if the beaver is working. (The width of black stripe = 1/3 of hoist, its vertical axis is set to 1/3 of length, the white triangles are right-angled). TIMBER!!

This is a superb flag! It has a meaning, it elegantly eveolves from the coat-of-arms, plus its design is both simple and unique. Who is the designer?

Don't know. I agree - it's an exceptionally witty flag.
