The Colour of the Bayerische Bereitschaftspolizei is called an Ehrenfahne (Honour Colour) in a short historical text at the Bavarian police website. It was presented to the president of the Bayerische Bereitschaftspolizei by the Minister of the Interior on 4 December 1986.
