The city of Iserlohn adopted its symbols in 1912. The coat of arms shows a city wall with two towers, the checkered bar of the [historical] County of Mark, and the local church patron, St. Pancratius. According to Hostert 1979 the flag is a plain triband in the colours white-red-yellow, (also mentioned in
