Adopted: 4 May 1998. Proportions: 7:11. Juuru is a rural municipality (vald) in Raplamaa County (Maakond).

From  http://www.rk.ee/symb/juuru.html: The bird is kind stork who lives in the swamps and bogs ( I can't remember its English name) and it refers to big bogs where it can be find. Stork is also the symbol of soberness and vigilance. Piles refer to one of the biggest upraise of peasantry. Red is the symbol of bravery and boldness. Silver is the symbol of purity and hope.
