Tolliste is a rural municipality (vald) in Valgamaa County (Maakond).

From http://www.rk.ee/symb/tolliste.html: Adopted 31 March, 1994. Ratio 1:1. Wall refers to the name of municipality (from German word Tellitz). It also refers to the former industry of bricks. Waves refer to the river of Emajõgi. Branches of fir refer to the forestry and hunting. Red refers to the many battles. Black, silver and red are also colors of Cistercians. During the middle ages Tõlliste belonged to the Cistercian monastery of Kärkna.
