Adopted: 1 Febuary 1995. Ratio: 7:11. Vaike - Maarja is a rural municipality (vald) in Laane Virumaa County (Maakond).

White over blue (1:2) with a vertical stripe at the hoist countercharged. The width of the hoist stripe is equal to the width of the top stripe, producing thus a blue square canton charged with a white raindrop.
