Description

The palm tree [on the arms] is the symbol of the local patron St Cristopher. The two chevrons indicate the hills in the area. The five towers in the crown symbolise that in Súria there were five different defence towers in the Arabic times.

Blas Delgado, 9 October 2001

A white flag with three wide black chevrons. A partial banner of the city arms, as it appears in the city website.
