Description

The flag of Puerto Serrano, a Cádiz municipality, is: vert, coat of arms ("minimal" dimensions) in the center. Coat of arms: party per fess, or and argent; on the I, a horse argent dressed azure and leashed gueules, passant dexter with broken leashes; on the II, on a mount vert an olive tree proper; royal crown, closed with five stemms and padded red. This flag was approved in 9 July 1987 and the horse with broken leash cames from a legend that the conquest of this moor castle town was possible by following the strayed horse of the adalid (mayor) as it cut itself loose in battle and returned to the castle...
