Description

Green flag with a tree as high as 1/2 of the flag's height. A bottom stripe as wide as 1/3 of the flag's height, chequered yellow and black (two rows, nine columns). Ratio 2:3.

The flag is a banner of the arms (blazoned Vert a tree erradicated Argent, base chequy Or and Sable). The tree (àlber) is canting and the chequered field is the arms of the counts of Urgel who conquered the municipality. Flag adopted 19th January 2000. Source for image and text: Fluvià 2001. The image in this source shows the bottom stripe as grey and yellow, rather than black and yellow as in the official description.
