On the canton the coat-of-arms of the marquises of Ciutadilla blazoned Argent two bars Azure i.e. white with two blue horizontal stripes which is part of the municipal coat-of-arms, as high as 1/3 of the flag's height and distant from top and hoist 1/9 of the flag's height.
