Description

Green with three superimposed crosses (throughout), white, red and white, whose arms are as wide as 1/2, 1/3 and 1/6 the flag's height. Ratio 2:3. Quite shockingly, the image on the official source (which Blas Delgado followed to prepare the above image) does not match the description. Colours from the coat-of-arms. The cross represents the flag (white cross on a red field) carried on the coat-of-arms by the paschal lamb, which in turn stands for St. John the Baptist. Flag adopted 30th April 1999.
