Last weekend my daugther was in Barcelona at the Comic Fair and today she
come back at home with some books . In one of them she
noted the appearance of a flag: the flag of the Yellow Empire, centered in Tibet, in the adventures of Blake and Mortimer (Le secret de l'espadon).

It's curious that a Yellow Empire (in comics) has a white and red flag.

Yellow in this context has to do with skin colour. There is a not-so-subtle racism underlying most of the Blake and
Mortimer albums.
