Presentation of the city

Digne is a city of c. 16,000 inhabitants, préfecture of the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Digne is located on the river Bléone, on the bottom of the Préalpes de Digne mountains. Digne is the main center of lavender production in France.

Description of the flag

The flag of Digne is blue with a yellow fleur-de-lys in the middle of the flag, flanked by two mirrored yellow L letters. A red Swiss cross is placed above the fleur-de-lys and a yellow D letter below the fleur-de-lys
