History of the Hong Kong colonial badge and flags

1843. Seal of Colony instituted. Local scene is of the water-front where three local merchants and a pile of merchandise are left fore-ground, and a square-rigged ship and a junk occupy the middle-ground. The back-ground has small conical hills with a larger one to the left above the merchants.
