Overview

Šandrovac is a community in the Bjelovar-Bilogora County, some 10 km due east of Bjelovar. It was formed in 1997 by secession from the community of Veliko Trojstvo. The photo of the flag was located by Tomislav Šipek in daily newspaper Vecernji list, 20. 09. 2004. regional issue. I estimate that it could have been adopted in 2002. The coat of arms of Šandrovac is argent four mullets of eight gules with the base ray enlarged, one and two and one. The charges represent presumably the blazing stars or comets, though I can't tell what the symbols connection with Šandrovac is. The flag is blue with the golden bordered coat of arms in the middle. The design looks like it was made in Heraldik-art d.o.o. of Rijeka, and there would probably be a ceremonial flag to go with it.
