Overview

The community of Pribislavec was formed in 2001 secedeing from the city of Cakovec. It is situated due northeast of Cakovec, being virtually its suburb, and it has about 2,700 inhabitants in Pribislavec and probably few hundereds more in surrounding villages. The local newspapers at <www.mnovine.hr> describe the coat of armsin three articles: "Udruge i organizacije dobile svoje prostore", Medimurske novine, br. 369, 02.10.2002. "Natjecaj za izbor idejnog rješenja grba i zastave Opcine Pribislavec", Medimurske novine, br. 376, 20.11.2002. "Pribislavec dobio grb i zastavu", Medimurske novine, br. 390, 26.02.2003. The designer is a local artist Danijel Hampamer.
The coat of arms of Probislavec adopted on 22 February 2003 is azure three tulips gules slipped and leaved vert issuant from base all gorged together with a crown or of nine perls argent. There is a flag, for sure, but I have as yet no info on the layout.

Recently I was contacted by Daniel Hampamer, the designer of the symbols of Pribislavec, who provided me a bit more detailed image of the Coat of Arms and the info on the flag. The flag is red with the coat of arms in the middle. Daniel Hampamer is also the designer of the coat of arms and the flag of an other community in the vicinity, namely that of Mala Subotica.
