Prelog is a city some 10 km east of Cakovec, down the Drava
river. There is about 8,000 inhabitants in the area, just over
the hlaf of it lives in the town itself. The community was
granted city status in 1997.
The coat of arms is almost certainly a historical one, but
unfortunately I have no data to confirm it. It is azure a tower
issuant argent between two mullets or. The flag is dark blue with
the golden bordered coat of arms in the middle.

I received info on an error that crept in my reports on the
flag of Prelog, namely the coat of arms is not set in the mdidle,
but it is off-set to hoist and towards top. If one take a
better look at the several photos on the city web site at <www.prelog.hr>. it should be
confirmed that the off-set version is used - although it seems
that in all photos the Coat of Arms is bearly visible, they are
mostly winded around the pole or obscured by people standing
infront of it. Maybe the best photo to show the flag is <www.prelog.hr/prelog-017.jpg>
though even that is not what we would like to have.
