Overview

Sveti Juraj na Bregu is a community in the Medimuje County with some 5,500 inhabitants, the seat of the community being the village Lopatinec with less then 900 inhabitants. (The name is for difference to Sv. Juraj u Trnju, a nearby village in Donji Kraljevec community.) Since the literal translation of the name is St. George on the Hill, it is not unexpected what is on the coat of arms.
The coat of arms pictures in a blue shield St. George slaying the dragon standing on a green hill. The coat of arms bordered yellow is set in the middle of the light blue flag.
Both coat of arms and the flag are shown on a photo the magazine Medimurje, br. 2505, 29.04.2003. available on line on <www.medjimurje.com>. These are shown on a photo of the community assembly hall, but are to small and intricate for me to redraw them. They seem to be from the Heraldik-art d.o.o. workshop, so a ceremonial flag is also to be expected.
