City Flag

The coat of arms is Azure a lion passant or holding a feather argent. The flag is light blue with the yellow bordered coat of arms in the middle.
Perušic is a community some 10-15 km north of Gospic with 7,500 inhabitants, the main settlement of the same name having some 1,300 of them. At the moment I am not quite sure to what or whom the feather refers.

Some days ago Tomislav Šipek sent me some good photos of the coat of arms taken on the road signs in Perušic, from which I made the drawings. There is a big probability that the ceremonial flag exists, hardly doubtful hat it is blue gonfanon with the coat of arms in the middle, name of the communiyt above and the ornaments below. In this case (as may be
seen on the road sign I mentioned) these are the branches of oak and linden, entirely similar as used on several other ceremonial flags already reported (like for example Bistra). I am anyway, reluctant to draw it without a further proof.
