Overview

Oroslavje is a pitoresque city dozen of so kilometers north of Zagreb, on the other side of Zagreb Mountain. The flag and CoA are adopted recently (1999?), though I believe that the CoA might be much older, this new being only new graphical layout (but I have no confirmation on that). The CoA and the ceremonial flag are shown on the city web-site at <www.oroslavje.hr>, and I have received additional informatin and image large enough to enable me better drawing, from a visitor to my FAME pages, Sebastijan Fuštin, journalist from Oroslavje.
The coat of arms is: Azure an Eagle volant displayed Or armed Gules. The eagle (orao) cants the name of the city. The flag is blue with golden bordered coat of arms in the middle. The ceremonial flag is a blue vertical hanging banner with the coat of arms in the middle surrounded with six seven-pointed golden stars, above the name of the city and below image of the entrance to the city park Perivoj.
