Pregrada is a community in the Krapina-Zagorje County.
Information thanks to Tomislav ipek, who proivded me good
sources for drawing the Coat of Arms, and who finally located
photo of the table flag in Vecernji list, 01.08.2003.
The flag is green with the coat of arms in the middle. The coat
of arms is vert two lions rampant regardant and crowned or
langued and armed gules holding together in front paws a church
argent with two belfries roofed gules and in chief a mullet of
eight or and a crescent argent.
Pregrada is some 10 km due west from Krapina with some 7 500
inhabitants, about 1 300 in the town of Pregrada itself. Pregrada
is mentioned already in 1334, and two feudal castles in vicinity
were held by the Keglevic family. The two lions rampant regardant
are from their family arms.
