Overview

Lekenik is a community in the Sisak-Moslavina County, population around 6,500, the village Lekenik itself just above 1,500, located some 20 km northwest of Sisak. It is maybe most well know about the Children's Village located there.
The Coat of Arms-like emblem shown in a lexicon (Croatia Tourist Guide, Leksikografski zavod Miroslav Krleža, Zagreb, 2000.) is probably not confirmed by the Ministry, and therefore no flag to go with it either.
The coat of arms is divded horizontally blue and green with golden wooden house typical for the region surrounded with a silver wreath of oak and vine leaves.
