Novi Marof changed its flag for some reason, however, I can confirm that two different flag has been hoisted on the city hall in Novi Marof as I photographed them, one in April 2001 and the new one in April 2003. The old flag was white with the coat of arms in the middle, and the new is exactly the same but on the yellow filed instead (also the city name road signs including coat of arms were changed from white to yellow in the same time). The flag hoisted 2001 was not "whitewashed" by the weatehr conditions, since the coat of arms was in well preserved colours.
