Overview

A community in Varaždin County with about 4,600 inhabitants (1993) some 10 km NE of Varaždin. The coat of arms is shown on the county web site <www.varazdinska-zupanija.hr>. It is sable St. Michael or wings displayed standing on a dragon gules piercing it with a spear in his sinister and holding scales (at least I think it is St. Michael, if it is shown winged and with
scales, slayinmg the dragon. It would be St. George it he would be on horse and with shield (with St.George's cross) instead of the scales). The community name is related with local word for "svraka" - magpie, but this is not reflected in the symbols, apparently.

On the community web site at <www.sracinec.hr> was a photo clearly showing the flag being red with the Coat of Arms covering quite large part of it off-set to hoist (without any border). Using the Coat of Arms image from the site, here is a reconstruction.
