Dugo Selo is a city some 20 km due east from Zagreb (in County of Zagreb), and even
if the name might indicate different (meaning is "Long
Village"), it is a city, and it had such status at least in
former Yugoslavia. In 1993 reform it lost such status for
community (together with a number of other cities not
"deserving" the "degradation"), but that was
"corrected" in 1997.
About that time it seems that the new coat of arms was adopted,
probably based on some previous, but I have not gained that info.
In any case, the coat of arms is prominently shown on road signs
on entrance to the city and on flags on civic buildings. It may
be blazoned as: triangular shield Azure, issuant a Crozier Or, in
chief dexter a Mullet of Six of the same, sinister a Crescent
Argent.
According with the valid regulations requiering monocoloured flag
for cities and communities, the flag is blue with the coat of
arms in the middle.

Accuracy: fair.
