The flag is vertical light blue in the center there is the CoA in
gold (??) above the shield the name 'MÓRAHALOM'. The fringe is

a photo.
Mórahalom is a town in Csongrád County in Hungary near to City
of Szeged (23 km west). The town has got 5.532 inhabitants (1990
census), all of them are Hungarians. Neighbouring settlements
are: Röszke, Domaszék, Zákányszék, Ruzsa and Ásotthalom
villages in Hungary, Senta / Zenta community in Yugoslavia.
The territory of the nowadays settlement was a part of Szeged
City from 1730. The territory has got its name from the Móra
family. Mórahalom means Móra Hill. In the center of this
farmland there became an administrative centre of the farmlands
of Szeged - Alsóközpont - means Lower Center in 1852. The
village was founded in 1950. It became large village in 1970,
large village with town rank in 1984 and town in 1989.
Description of the CoA of the village: The green colour relates
to the agriculture, the cluster of grape relates to the wine
culture, and the gold hill relates to the name of the settlement.
