Description

Local Council Hora is situated in the north Negev region, 13 km NE to Be'er Sheva. Founded in 1989, part of the nowadays dissolved RC Shoket 1991-1997 and an independent Local Council from 1997, managed by the Ministry of the Interior until first elections take place. Pop. 7,000, all Bedouins. A municipal emblem was proposed in 1997 but never officially published, though it is used by the Local Council. I have received reports that the flag is white with the emblem in an unknown colour. On the emblem I can tell a sun, ear of wheat and tents.
