Description

Local Council Segev Shalom is a bedouin town in the Negev, formerly part of the dissolved RC Mashosh. Situated 4 km SE to Be'er Sheva and administrated by the Ministery of the Interior until first elections are made. Pop. 5,000 inh., all Muslim beduins. The flag is reported as white with emblem, but the colours of the emblem need confirmation. The municipal emblem has not been published in the official gazette (Rashumot), though an intent was made in 1997, and is thus unofficial. The Local Council uses the proposed emblem.
