The flag of municipality Narashino was adopted on Nov 13 1975 and the emblem was adopted on Aug 1 1955.

Those yellow items in the center are stylized Chinese character of Nara of Nara-shi-no composed of three Chinese characters.

There is no special meanings of green and yellow on their official gazette.
