City Flag Design interpretation

The blue top portion of the flag represents lustrous image of gemstone, symbolizing bright future of Iksan City as well as new millennium, new hope, and new vision.

Blue color symbolizes gemstone, Mireuksa temple pagoda, and mountains representing Iksan City and the gemstone here symbolizes key industry including jewelry, Mireuksa temple pagoda does traditional culture industry, and mountains symbolize strong economy in Iksan City.

Sky blue color on the left and orange color on the right side are supplementary images supporting gemstone and Mireuksa temple site, symbolizing the citizens' love for Iksan City and the city's spirit of service.

Green color at the bottom represents plains surrounding Iksan City, implying the image of prosperity for the future and symbolizing the affluence of Iksan City in harmony with urban and rural communities.

Size of City Flag, mark, and logo (letter) are standardized , but if necessary, its width and length would be adjusted while maintaining their ratio.
