Woensel-Zuid
On 14 October 1927 the municipal council of Eindhoven adopted two flags,
one without, and one with the CoA in the canton. The general pattern was
inspired by the merger of 6 municipalities to "Groot-Eindhoven". The two
stripes towards the hoist point at Eindhoven itself; the 5 horizontal stripes
at Woensel, Tongelre, Stratum, Gestel, and Strijp.
