Description: four equally wide horizontal stripes of yellow, blue, white and red. Adopted 24 Mar 1954 by municipal resolution.
This municipality is since 1970 part of Borsele municipality in Zeeland province. It had 400 inhabitants in the settlements 's-Heer Abtskerke (seat), Baarsdorp and Sinoutskerke.

This is also the coat of arms of the family Perponcher Sedlnitzky, probably the Lords (Heeren) of this municipality. In 1949 the spurs were replaced by arrows.

Ir. A.J. Beenhakker observed: the coat of arms of the municipality doesn't have a bow and arrow in its second and third quarter (as written in the official blazon), or stirrups, as in the Koffie Hag Album. No, they are wolf traps, a Polish heraldic element. (in Czech this is called "zavinuta strela</
