Biggekerke former municipality

[Biggekerke flag] by Jarig Bakker, 30 Oct 2003

Biggekerke was an independent municipality 1811-1966 with a population of 850 in the settlements Biggekerke (seat), Krommenhoeke and Valkenisse.
Flag: blue, with three white fishes and three yellow six-pointed stars, placed 2,1 and 1,2.
This flag was not official but was used as such. The image is identical to the CoA, which is black with those fish-stars; it is not known why the black color of the CoA was changed in blue for the flag.
