municipality: Sunnmøre, Romsdall and Nordmøre. Additional symbolic are crosses

The arms of Møre og Romsdal were not officially
approved, and so the county has no right to fly a flag. However, they do it
anyway. The flag is said to be a white field with the shield in the middle.

Many counties - and some cities as well - do not
pay any attention to the law that prohibit counties and municipalities from
flying other flags than those officially approved. The law was amended only a
year ago to allow the flying of the Sami flag, but this has not affected the
practice of flying flags that lack official sanction.
