Koszyce municipality is in Proszowice county, c. 30 km east of Krakow.

Description: Two parallel horizontal bends of equal breadth. Top one yellow, bottom one sky blue (B-).
Meaning: The yellow (gold) color symbolises the sun and grains, which dominate agriculture of the commune. The blue (sky blue) color symbolises river Vistula, which flows on the commune's south border. In heraldry, gold is a symbol of nobility, friendliness, uplift, virtue, dignity, intelligence and respect. Blue means beauty, loyalty, honesty, reliability and fame.
